Lehi Police Department
The city of Lehi Utah decided that they would move the Lehi Police Department to a newly constructed Public Safety Building. The new building is named the Joseph Adams Public Safety Building after Lehi Police Officer Joseph Adams who was shot and killed during a traffic stop of a DUI suspect in August 2001.
With this new construction, the Lehi Police Department made sure that a brand-new fitness center was included in the plans. Today more police departments are encouraging their officers to exercise, stay healthy and reduce stress levels by having an on-site fitness amenity.
Our Utah team was able to create a space that would give officers everything they would need for a full body and proper training, plus a fitness center that would draw the attention of new recruits.
According to the Chief of Police, Darren, “The Fitness Center has been a great recruitment tool for us as we hire new officers. We recently hired a 5-year officer from Seattle and he mentioned the gym specifically as a factor in his decision. We love it!”
Equipment Included in this project is from Precor, Torque, Jacobs Ladder , Concept2, Troy Barbell & Fitness and TRX.
The creation of a well-equipped and functional facility, will contribute to the overall health and well-being of law enforcement personnel, ensuring they have the resources to prioritize their fitness and maintain peak performance.
